Bio
I was born in Scarborough, North Yorkshire, in England. When I was four, the family moved to the sunny island of Cyprus in the Mediteranean because of my dad's line of employment (he worked in Intelligence...that's all I know...if he told me, he'd have to kill me - that sorta deal).

It was in Cyprus that I found video games...arcade games, to be exact. We lived in an army village, and the only place that had arcade machines was the burger bar at the end of Sycammore Road, where I lived (number 53). I grew up around old games like Double Dragon, Black Tiger and Rabbit Punch - a very mixed bunch, but I loved them all.

When we got back from Cyprus, when I was 7 and my father's post in the country was over, my parents bought me a Sega Master System. Since that time, I've owned nearly every Sega console (everything bar the Mega/SegaCD...), and most other major consoles. Gaming is a big part of my life, with PCs and consoles.

I made Doom mods years ago, and when Quake was released I fell in love with it. It's accessibility for a game modifier was enormous, and I set about changing it as soon as the tools became available. Some friends and I made some fairly sucky little TCs (like Aliens vs Predator...that one was an immense conversion, but very rough around the edges). I continued to make Quake mods up until very recently, when I decided it was time to retire. I still play them, and am part of the community, but I don't really do them anymore.

Instead, I mostly make music. I'm part of a very strange band that spans the globe - two members in the UK - myself and Stephen Plumb - and one member in the US of A - David Queener aka scar3crow - with his friend Jamie who will no doubt contribute over the years, but isn't really an 'official' member. Together, we're False Epiphany. Our music is...different. It can't really be classified.

I've been making music for/under False Epiphany for a few months now, and our first album has just been finished. It's a collection of instrumentals of various styles (darkwave, ambient, experimental classical, drum'n'bass, lotsa stuff) primarily by myself, with Plumb contributing one track that I modified, and one remix of one of my songs. It's having the album art created at the time of writing, and should be fully completed and available to buy from www.mp3.com/falseepiphany very soon.

Well that more or less brings us to the present...
